Parents Night Out 2022

It was a record-breaking Parents Night Out! We are so grateful to all the parents who came to the event and/or made donations. The support and generosity of our incredible community made this night a HUGE success!!!! Funds from the event will go towards building a growth mindset library for each class, a story walk for the playground, a CLL Lego wall, and an outdoor reading/learning area. Check out our Instagram page @csh_ghptg for images of the event and items the funds will be put towards.

We also want to give special thanks to the following people:

  • PNO Committee Chair Danielle Syversten whose organization skills and spreadsheets are unparalleled. We are beyond appreciative of the time and energy you put into tracking every detail and making this event a success.

  • Bacardi and Christine Squillante for their generous alcohol donations.

  • Mandy Dalal for allowing us to borrow decor from her collection.

  • Bravo to Hal Rechler, who did an amazing job as MC for our first-ever Live Auction.

  • The Class Parents, who organized more than 25 themed raffle baskets, and every parent who contributed with donations and spent time securing all the fabulous basket items.

  • All the other amazing donors generously gave items for raffle baskets and the silent & live auctions.

  • The PTG Board for their creativity and hard work - Erin Rechler, Monica Wells, Abby Donadic, Tori Phillips, Beth Taylor, Ana Canava, Erika Pappas, Cristen Blundell, Megan Halsey, Rae Ferraro, Yona Nirenberg, and Maggie Lovett.

  • Lastly, THANK YOU TO CRISTEN AND JAMIE BLUNDELL, who generously offered to host the event at their beautiful Laurel Hollow home. It was the perfect backdrop for our night out. We really couldn't have done it without you!

The PTG is excited to announce its Goosehill Hero Initiative! Each month our kindergarten and 1rst grade classes will take turns showing our appreciation and celebrating a different Goosehill department. Mrs. Cucolo and Mrs. Derops's classes started us off this month by acknowledging the Cafeteria and Custodial departments and staff members. Be sure to check out the Bulletin Board (near the main office), which will showcase our honorees each month!
